5 AWESOME FITNESS & LIFESTYLE EVENTS EVERY SHEFFIELDER SHOULD KNOW ABOUT

There are some really great health, fitness and well-being events and activities going on across Sheffield… so we’ve taken some time to shine a light on 5 of our favourites! There’s something for everyone, from fitness newbies through to adrenalin junkies.

1) Jump Inc: Jump Fit Classes

What they say: Jump Fit classes offer a structured exercise regime that’s supercharged with all the benefits of free jumping. These high-intensity, low-impact cardio workouts will blast your core, improve all-over muscle tone and raise your heart rate.

Who’s it for: Anyone aged 16 years and older. They offer a programme of classes including, Jump Tone, Jump Combat and Jumpilates so you can choose the class that suits your own targets and ability.

2) Sweatworking

What they say: A new hybrid concept called ‘Sweatworking’ is bridging the gap between working out and hanging out. The first social event includes; a 45 minute gym session, the chance to hear from an industry expert on styling & skincare, a complimentary smoothie, food taster from Mean, Clean, Lean and a guilt free dessert from designed2eat.

Who’s it for: Anyone with an interest in fitness, a healthy lifestyle and skin care.

3) The Climbing Works

What they say: The Climbing Works prides itself on being the World’s best bouldering centre and in providing a facility that caters for a range of target groups, including teenagers and adults exploring a new lifestyle sport.

Who’s it for: Anyone from children taking their first climbing steps through to elite climbers looking to advance in the sport and test themselves.

4) Leonies Yoga

What they say: What I especially like about yoga is how it subtly begins to transform your whole life and outlook, not just your body. There is always something new to learn, and ultimately yoga practice in any style tells you so much about yourself.

Who’s it for: The good thing about Yoga is it’s accessible to everyone! Leonie runs drop ins for all levels.

5) Net-Walking

What they say: A unique, free networking experience launched in Endcliffe Park Sheffield in October 2011.

Who’s it for: Entrepreneurs, experts and employees welcome!

When: FREE Fresh Air Friday Net-walking starts 9am every third Friday of each month, about 4 miles up the Porter Valley and back from Endcliffe Park Café meeting point.
