Tech North Founders’ Network Summit

The summit took all of the best things about the six month Tech North Founders’ Network programme – the connections, the peer-to-peer learning, the insights from seasoned entrepreneurs – and threw it all together for a ‘pick and mix’ conference.

The aim of the Tech North Founders’ Network Summit was to bring the founders from the programme together for an event that was less rigid than a conference and more informative than a meet up. Featuring practical workshops, one-to-one mentoring sessions with experienced entrepreneurs and a peer-to-peer unconference. They asked us to plan, coordinate and execute all of the pre and on the day logistics, managing the different event elements and ensuring the schedule ran smoothly.

Throughout the day the team successfully oversaw registration, one keynote speaker, three workshops, nine 1-2-1 meetings, 16 unconference sessions, a panel session and an after party. The client wanted delegates to be able to pick and choose what they attended, with this in mind we made sure to have continuous refreshments available and a seating area so people had somewhere to work from if they wanted to. The event had 100+ attendees and the programme as a whole was identified as being the highest rated programme across both Tech North and the wider Tech City UK network.
