WOSCON Promotional Pop Up’s
A series of pop up events to promote and sell tickets for the main WOSCON event.
WHAT THE CLIENT WANTED / THE ASK
The client brief was simple; to promote WOSCON to the target audience in a creative way that would demonstrate what they could expect from the event and boost ticket sales.
HOW WE ACHIEVED THIS / THE OUTCOME
For this project we have teamed up with an awesome local marketing agency The Brand New Idea. The target audiences were families and students, so we identified key areas to hold interactive pop up events in the weeks leading up to WOSCON. Two notable examples were the superhero takeover weekends we ran in Meadowhall and Crystal Peaks shopping centres. Passers by were stopped in their tracks by life sized statues, dressed up superheros and limited edition memorabilia on display. As a result of these events we pre-sold over half of the 5,000 tickets, boosting overall sales massively.
